We had a great meeting with Phil Waggoner on Sunday. It was good meeting him and getting a chance to ask questions. It looks like this year we will not be in as remote an area as we were last year. I was excited to hear his plans and to see where we would be set up.

With just a couple of months left before we head out, I wanted to get started. I will try to post as often as possible, but I am sure we will be a bit limited once we get in country. For now, I'll just let everyone know what we are doing as a group to get ready.
First, a big thanks to the Elders for supplying us with access to Rosetta Stone for basic Spanish (Latin America). Even if everyone does not get through all of the lessons, I know this will be a big help to several of us.
If you are not going on the trip, please keep us in your prayers. The month or so leading up to the trip is always eventful with everyone trying to make sure we have everything we need. I know we would all appreciate prayers on our behalf for strength and courage. Although it is only a week, it is a very busy week and takes a lot out of a person.
