We had another baptism today for a total of 5 so far. 

After this one, we are draining the pool and refilling with fresh water.

The folks are all hard at work either in the clinic or doing bible studies. I am very proud of the maintenance team this week. Although there are down times, everyone has jumped in the minute they are needed. Here are a couple of the team.

Monday update

Been a busy day. Folks were in line at the clinic while multiple bible studies were going on out under the tents. We also had teams going out into the community as well as the teen group going to schools. 

We had 5 baptisms today!  We are doing all we can to take care of physical and spiritual needs. 

I was not able to get many pictures today but here are a few. 

This is one of the local preachers. He is 86 years old. He said his eyesight was not as good as it once was and asked if we had any reading glasses. 

Here is my new buddy. She was getting a bit cranky with her family so I took a few minutes to help out.

We had our first baptism today. A young lady responded and was baptized. We are using a small pool set up inside an old in ground pool.

Happy Saturday morning!  

My roomies had a good nights sleep and are ready to go this morning.

On the bus headed to Danli. Phil said it was a 2 hour drive. 😉

Lunch time!

We just left the airport and grabbed lunch at a Burger King.  I think everyone was ready for lunch. 

We have arrived

Just landed in Honduras. As you can tell, Rayna is just glad to be here.  And so am I. 

Made it to Atlanta

The group has arrived in Atlanta. Now we just have a short wait for the next flight leaves. As you can tell, Tiffany had a great first flight from Nashville.

What a great day to head out for Honduras!  

One Week and counting

It is one week until our group heads out to Honduras to meet up with other Christians to bring the gospel, as well as medical assistance, to the people of Danli.  There is already a congregation established there, so our mission is to help spread the gospel and edify the church planted there.

As always, please continue to pray for our group as we travel and especially as we work to expand the boarders of the kingdom.

Almost that time

It is almost time to load up and head back to Honduras for another medical campaign.  Although excited about the opportunity, I am sad that several members of past campaigns are not going to be able to join us. 

Please pray for a successful campaign and safe travels for our group.
