Last leg home

We are getting ready to head to Nashville.

We are all ready to get home.

Atlanta airport

We are in Atlanta airport waiting on our connecting flight.

Headed home

Here we go.

On the bus headed to the airport.

Waiting on the bus

This morning, we all jumped in and got the truck loaded in record time. While we were waiting for the bus, I got a few pictures.

Maintenance team

I am so proud to have worked with this group of men this week. I know I am a better person for having been around them. And we did have some fun in the process.

Friday

For Friday, we spent the day at the Valley of Angels. Kind of reminded me of Gattlinburg, but much poorer and in Spanish.

Here is a young man that wanted hugs from everyone when we made a rest stop on the way back.

Friday evening we had our U.S. Team meeting. Lots of great comments.

Thursday pictures

Here are a few pictures from today.

Thursday's devo

Today, we had the privilege of listening to a young man speak that almost brought tears to my eyes. Neil was just added to the church not long ago but had a very powerful message. I was very proud of him.

Local preacher

This is Jose. He is the minister at the congregation we are working at. There is not a harder working man in the area than him. It has been a great experience working with him this week.

More of Wednesday

Here are the pharmacy folks.

Here is Paul "explaining" something.

Hump Day

It is Wednesday and we hit the ground running or at least a fast walk. Here are a few pictures.

VBS and other pictures

Here is where the kids have been having class.

Here is Faith and her "BFF" (for the moment) Victor.

This is one of my maintenance team.  Neil is doing a great job of holding up the wall. He is taking care of the front gate. No one gets in past Neil unless they have a pass.

More Tuesday

This is the teen class.

Here are some pictures of the Meeting.

Baptism

We had another baptism today for a total of 5 so far.

After this one, we are draining the pool and refilling with fresh water.

Photo op

As you can tell, Whitleigh is hard at work and is very camera shy.

More from Tuesday

The folks are all hard at work either in the clinic or doing bible studies. I am very proud of the maintenance team this week. Although there are down times, everyone has jumped in the minute they are needed. Here are a couple of the team.

Tuesday devo

Tuesday morning

We took a different route to the church building this morning. Here are a few pictures along the way.

Monday update

Been a busy day. Folks were in line at the clinic while multiple bible studies were going on out under the tents. We also had teams going out into the community as well as the teen group going to schools.

We had 5 baptisms today!  We are doing all we can to take care of physical and spiritual needs.

I was not able to get many pictures today but here are a few.

This is one of the local preachers. He is 86 years old. He said his eyesight was not as good as it once was and asked if we had any reading glasses.

Here is my new buddy. She was getting a bit cranky with her family so I took a few minutes to help out.

Sunday night

These guys were wishing me a happy anniversary.

Tiffany was learning a new card game in between trips out to the schools.
