Thursday update

I forgot to mention the most important detail in my earlier post. 

Yesterday, we had 14 baptisms!!  That brings the total to 40 so far this week. I added a couple of pictures earlier from baptisms. 

I will post more later on. 

Thursday morning

Hard to believe but this is the last day for the clinic. The week has gone by fast. I have worked on everything from a pair of glasses to a wheelchair. We have filled several hand washing water bags and taken out a ton of trash. We still have today to get as much done as possible.

School visits

Several of the teens have been going out to the local schools and sharing bible stories with different classes. Today, the school was too far away for the group to walk so I drove the van. Here are some pictures of the group.

Tuesday evening

Another wonderful day. We had 10 baptisms and 2 restorations today.  Everyone is excited with the number of responses. 

Classes have been going well. I had the opportunity to teach the teen class again tonight.  Here are a few pictures from a couple of the classes.

Tuesday update

I just witnessed an 88 yr old woman being baptized. Yesterday, we had a 92 yr old baptized. How amazing is that!!  Here are a couple of pictures from this morning. 

On a side note, we are happy to report that some of the locals have access to high end hats. Scott found one such case at lunch.

Tuesday morning

Good morning!  What a great day to be a member of Christ's church. 

Before going in to the clinic, a few of us walked over to the local church building. It is just a block from the clinic. 

We had a good breakfast this morning (as usual) and then had our devotional before opening up the clinic. Jesse brought the message this morning.
